NIGHT MARKET

Come out to Delridge Fresh Food Spot's second Night Market on Tuesday AUGUST 3rd! Music, Food, & Community from 4pm to 8pm at Mr. Singh's Super 24 corner store on Delridge ( 5455 Delridge Way SW Seattle 98106 ). We've started doing these "Night Markets" to promote healthy food access and to discourage activities that are detrimental to the well being of the community, but in a fun way! This time around we are participating in the Seattle Night Out! Join your neighbors! Eat something that tastes good and makes you feel better! See you there!

The Clean Greens weekly produce market will operate on Fridays 9am-5pm and Saturdays 10am to 6pm. On Saturdays, the Delridge Fresh Food Spot Team (DNDA staff and volunteers) will be at the Super 24 from 10am-2pm providing food samplings using Clean Greens produce as well as information on healthy food options, simple activities for the kids and more.

The Delridge Fresh Food Spot (DFFS) is a project of the King County Food & Fitness Initiative and lead by the Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association. Through this project local retail food stores collaborate with the Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association (DNDA) and the community to promote healthy food access and to discourage activities that are detrimental to the well being of the community. It does so by stocking and advertising healthful products, discouraging unhealthy practices in the vicinity of the store, abiding by existing laws, and participating in activities that meet the nutritional needs of local community residents.
